Long-time Highpoint Lowlife collaborator Ruaridh/TVO, brings us an amazing 6 track EP of thumping sub-lo techno, inspired in part by the schlocky writings of H P Lovecraft.

"I'm not sure if the theme is manifested in the tracks themselves, although there is a bit of foreboding dread in these ones that's not usually in my other things - less of the pastoral more of the eldritch, perhaps. It just came about as I was reading some Lovecraft-inspired things at the time of putting it together."

These tracks continue his precision styled explorations into the outer side of the dance - hyperactive percussion, jacking kick drums and some serious low end bass create a dirty machine funk to shake booties as much as tickle the cerebral heads. Stylistcaly this release is closer to his Stuff records released 12" 'The Dark Is Rising' than his live ambient soundtrack album for Takashi Miike's 'MPD Psycho' entitled 'I Can Hear The Sirens Singing Again' (which made FACT magazine's 20 best albums Jul-Sep) and previous HPLL album 'Et In Arcadia Ego' from 2005.
