Second of our webreleases was “Time Is But A Memory”, a two track EP by longtime associate Fisk Industries.

As mentioned yesterday, i had originally met Mat/Fisk via doing the 8bitrecs.com netlabel. He had sent me over a couple of tracks which i liked and had put up on 8bitrecs. A couple of times after that, with my mp3 library on shuffle, i kept hearing the tracks he had given me and thinking “wow, whats this playing? its awesome”. By this time, i had or was just in the process of putting out the DoF album, and was getting some momentum going on Highpoint Lowlife again after doing the Erase Errata project. I emailed Mat to suggest to doing a proper CD release on HPLL and we agreed to meet up down at the Foundry to discuss the project which became the “Isle Of Wight EP”.

We got only really well, and mat’s been very much involved with the label ever since then, doing design for about 80% of the covers and the logo, on top of having released probably the most amount of music on the label when you include the amount of netreleases too.
